Network Security Engineers

CLC Space is currently recruiting Network Security Engineers to provide network security engineering services at their client’s headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The activities to be performed will mainly focus on contributing to the establishment, implementation and maintenance of network security elements conforming to our client’s configuration and change control procedures as well as the relevant system engineering standards, quality management procedures and maintenance procedures.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Obsolescence and compliance re-engineering
- Re-engineering of legacy network systems with respect to security aspects

Configuration Support and Audit
- Identification and implementation of firewall management software
- Firewall rule audit and corrective actions
- Identification and implementation of compliance actions

Intrusion prevention and detection, security monitoring
- Implementation & Management of Next Generation Firewalls
- Design and implementation of Network security anomaly detection
- Identification and implementation of DNS log management and analysis

Traffic management and recording
-Implementation and management of network flow visibility software
-Identification and implementation of software/hardware solution for dynamic traffic sampling and replay

YOUR PROFILE
You shall have the following experience and background:

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Network Security

You shall have knowledge and experience in the design, implementation and maintenance of network and security systems.

Shall have experience in complex systems requiring a high availability and high security needs in a 24/7 operating environment, preferably with large, distributed, heterogeneous IT environments and in the tasks and responsibilities detailed above
.
It would be an advantage to hold relevant and up-to-date certifications.

The working language for the position is English and therefore the you shall be able to work effectively in this language.
